Vijay Patel
Vijay is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Chiratae Ventures. He has over 14 years of experience in product strategy, leading technology transformations and building tech platforms in BFSI sector. At Chiratae, he will lead the planning and development of technology for our clients, partners, and internal employees to improve productivity and business output to reduce the cost and time.
Prior to Chiratae Ventures, Vijay worked with Edelweiss Wealth Management where he worked as a CTO leading the team of 200+ engineers to build India’s one of the best Wealth and Asset Management tech platforms. His technology specialisation extends to Data analytics, Digital platforms, Mobile experiences, Cloud, Enterprise transformation and scaling them to increase their viability.
Vijay holds B.Tech degree from Mumbai university. He is passionate about cricket and football. He is a hard-core supporter of Mumbai Indians and Manchester United.
Dr. Reema Thareja
In 17+ years of experience, she has taught courses including BA, BSc, MSc, BBA, MBA, BCA, MCA and Authored several books with renowned publishers like Oxford University Press, Pearson, McGraw Hill, Universities Press and BPB. She has also published 22 research papers across various international journals of repute and filed 3 patents.
Dr. Reema Thareja has been recognized as the Best-Selling author of Oxford University Press. She also received the following awards:
Nobel Laureate Maria Goeppert-Mayer Inspiring Woman of the Year 2021 Award in the field of Computer Science by International Multi-Disciplinary Research Foundation (IMRF).
“India’s Top 50 Women Leaders in the Education Industry” for the year 2020 by uLektz Wall of Fame.
Knowledge Mobilization Award at the 7th Annual Research Awards by Shri Paramhans Education & Research Foundation Trust on 4th July 2021.
She is a member of Board of Studies in Computer Science for P.B. Siddhartha College of Arts & Science, Vijayawada and Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala.
Dr. Reema has conducted several FDPs, student workshops and webinars in India and USA. She was also invited as a speaker for the Global Virtual Summit held in New York in 2021 and in the International Dialogue on Empowered Future - Women’s Role on the eve of International Women’s Day 2021.
Jyoti Kataria
Ms. Jyoti holds a Masters Degree from IIT Mumbai. She has 4 yrs experience as a Bioinformatics Analyst with expertise in NGS Data Analysis. Her Professional summary highlights are as follows:
- Experienced in Whole genome sequencing, exome sequencing, RNA-Seq and copy number analysis
- Worked with a variety of tools in NGS Data Analysis
- Facilitated the development of data analysis pipeline
Her research interest escalated in interdisciplinary sciences and She is working in a blend of biology, mathematics and computer sciences.
Major Areas of Interest are NGS Data Analysis, Biostatistics, Machine Learning.
Puneet Saxena
Puneet Saxena is the Head of Investment and Business Development for Asia at Prytek, which is a multinational technology group with a focus on building and investing in technologies globally.
Prior experience includes leadership roles in sales and product at Bloomberg and part of the founding team of a fintech start-up in India.
Puneet is a CFA charter holder and an alumnus of IIM-Lucknow and IIIT-Kolkata. He is currently on the board of Delta Capita India, a Prytek portfolio company.
